Is being an elderly change much movement ?

Will one's perspective change when you grow old?

How can we accompany the elderly to see the process of growing old?

How can we use science to help the elderly?

Do the food elderly eat have to be of a specially customized?

How can we help the elderly to but self sustainable?

Does aging affect one's mentality?

How do we help to make good relationships between youths and elderly?

How do we deal with the increasing population of elderly in SIngapore?

With many elderlies in the society, how would it affect the society?

How can we design the environment around the elderly to suit them?

How can we use science to help the elderly gain calcium for strong bones?

Could we design chairs for elderly with back problem?

Q1: Is being an elderly change much movement ?

Reason: Though we grow old it doesn't mean that our actions/movement actually change.So does it change? I wish to know.

Q2: Will one's perspective change when you grow old?

Reason: Growing old may mean a change in perspective as we see more things

Q3:How can we accompany the elderly to see the process of growing old?

Reason: We may be able to join the elderly to see how growing old may be/feel like

Q4:How can we use science to help the elderly?

Reasons: Science and technology may advance and be able to help the elderly in their lives making it easier

Q5: Do the food elderly eat have to be of a specially customized?

Reason: In terms of their teeth strength and ability to digest food, they may need to have food designed specially for them

Q6: How can we help the elderly to but self sustainable?

Reason: Being self sustainable the elderly can help themselves and not feel reliant on others keeping their dignity

Q7: Does aging affect one's mentality?

Reason: People may be upset that they are considered an elderly, whiles others look at it in a different way

Q8: How do we help to make good relationships between youths and elderly?

Reason: Youths and elderly as we can see do not mix around well except people around the same age

Q9: How do we deal with the increasing population of elderly in SIngapore?

Reason: Singapore now has an increasing population of elderly so we may need to find out how we can change the environment to suit this challenge

Q10: With many elderlies in the society, how would it affect the society?

Reason: Countries like Japan and Singapore, both are very developed countries.

But one problem both societies are facing is the amount of elderlies.


Q11: How can we design the environment around the elderly to suit them?

Reason: The environment may not be elderly friendly and the elderly would need help to get around in that area.

Q12: How can we use science to help the elderly gain calcium for strong bones?

Reason: Usually the case of the elderly not being able to move much on their own is due to the insufficient strength they have. So to strengthen the elderlies’ bones, more is calcium needed to be given to them

Q13: Could we design chairs for elderly with back problem?

Reason: Many elderlies have back problems of which hurts quite badly. So to help the backs of the elderly we can design a chair specially for this problem

Q14: How can we create public awareness in a way that shows being an elderly may not be good ?

Reason: Having the public aware of the increasing rate of elderlies they would also note that they can help the elderlies to make their lives a more enjoyable and easier one

Q15: How can we help the elderly to get around the country easily(transport system)?

Reason: The elderly may need to get around the country to get something done. So the transport system has to be improved to be more elderly friendly to make life easier for the elderly

Q16: How can we help the elderly have better grip on items?

Reason: Many elderly do not have the grip/strength to hold on to the items and if they drop or even break the item, they may be demoralised as they think they are useless and cannot even take care of themselves

Q17: How can we provide good health services so that the elderly may receive it easily

Reason: Elderly needs good health services to maintain a good healthy lifestyle
